Senior Finance Officer (full-time)

To support our growth and strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Finance Officer (full-time).

Your Role as Senior Finance Officer

As Senior Finance Officer, you will lead the finance department and take full responsibility for all financial operations within the company. You will report directly to the Operational Director and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

From handling invoices, accounts payable, and VAT declarations to monthly and annual financial reporting, you ensure smooth financial operations while training, guiding, and managing team members.

Beyond day-to-day finance activities, you will also focus on identifying opportunities to optimize financial processes and minimize risks. With your strong analytical skills, deep understanding of financial programs (e.g., Oracle), and excellent Excel expertise, you contribute directly to MSI’s success in an international and fast-paced environment.

At MSI, English is the primary language due to our global structure, and you will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Processing and booking invoices (accounts payable and receivable)
• Monitoring and adjusting credit limits in collaboration with the credit insurance company
• Handling bank transactions
• Managing VAT declarations and ensuring tax compliance
• Overseeing and controlling all financial administration
• Leading monthly and annual financial closings
• Reporting directly to the Operational Director

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance
• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Finance Officer or similar role
• ·Fluent in English and Dutch (Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., Oracle)
• Excellent accuracy, integrity, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive and hands-on mentality
